Jeremy Harmer's Presentation
On 30 July 2008, CEFL was represented at a great presentation given by Jeremy Harmer, the renowned writer of ELT books, which include “The Practice of English Language Teaching”, now in its fourth edition, and “How to teach English”.
Mr Harmer’s presentation, entitled “Difference, Medals, Missions and Angels”, which was sponsored by Pearson Malaysia, addressed the question: “How can teachers deal with mixed intelligence, mixed ability classes?” by examining the relationship between motivation and individual differentiation.
