On 10 October, our USJ 21 centre held a workshop at SK Dato Onn Jaafar for their entire Standard 6 class. The programme presented was called “Taking the Mystery Out of English and Making It Fun!”. All of the students were Word Detectives for the day! CEFL staff led the students through a series of games that focused on using the new mystery vocabulary they were taught that day. In addition to Vocab Bingo, Decoding Games, and a Detective Word Chant game, the teams competed in a fun Superlative Challenge that required them to find the fastest alphabet singer, the longest name, the farthest distance they could throw a paper airplane and more challenges!
